Top 5 Favorite Drug Store Products!

So with Christmas just around the corner your wallet probably seems lighter than ever. Need a holiday party makeup look, or just something for every day? There are definitely products that are worth splurging on .. however these products you don't have to! Here are my top 5 favorite drug store products at the moment.

1. Foundation - L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation
L'Oreal True Match is the ONLY drug store foundation I will use. It is comparable to MAC Studio Fix. It is oil free and medium to full buildable coverage. It leaves a  semi matte finish and makes your skin look even. It is also super easy to blend and stays all day. I wear W3 in the winter and W5 in the summer. $6.99-$11.99

2. Powder - L'Oreal True Match Powder

Again L'Oreal does it again. This also is the ONLY drug store powder I use. It is great for carrying in your bag for touch ups throughout the day. It gives a matte finish and I use the same colors that I use in the liquid. $8.99-$14.99

 

3. Eyebrow Pencil - Maybelline Define-A-Brow

I love love love this brow pencil. I use light brown and it has a little warmth to it. Although it is no Anastasia, it is a great, cheaper alternative. $4.99-$7.99

 

4. Blush- Hard Candy Fox in a Box 

 
I love these blushes! They are similar to the Benefit boxed blushes. With Spicy & Sweet you can do at least 8 different colors combinations. You can find these at Wal-Mart for $6.00

5. Eye shadow - NYX Cosmetics

NYX eye shadows are almost EXACTLY like MAC eye shadows but HALF of the price. They are very, very pigmented and easy to blend. $5.00-$7.00

So we are a week away from December! This is my favorite time of the year. Not just because it is my birthday month but because it's Christmas time! What I LOVE about this Advent is that Benefit has included their best selling products in this calendar. Any beauty lover would be obsessed with this. You receive 24 deluxe sample sized products including, POREfessional primer, They're Real Mascara, and Highbeam Liquid Highlighter. The only downside is this year they included a few hair ties and a doodle pad. Last years was ALL samples and much more worth it! But still a great gift idea.

Who doesn't love Yankee Candle? It is always a top gift for family members on my Christmas list. This advent calendar is awesome because each day you get a tea light that you can light. Best Essie New Fall Collection Color and Shoes to Match!

Welcome to my NEW blog! To kick off this brand new name and brand new website I am going to announce my favorite Essie Fall Collection Nail Polish Color. It is called 'For the Twill of It'!

This beauty is an awesome holographic color with reflects of blue, grey, purple, and green. It is a fun lacquer to spice up any outfit. Below is a picture taken with flash on the train to the city, against my Louis Vuitton Wallet. This nail polish can be found at Essie.com for $8.50 or any local drugstore. Hurry when I checked a local store they were sold out! I was lucky to snag it somewhere else.

 

And of course my typical outfit can include black, black, oh and more black.  Might I suggest wearing this Essie Nail Polish with a pair of black leggings, a long black loose sweater, and these bad boys!

 

 

The bottom and the back matches "For the Twill of It' exactly! These are the NEW 'Wolf Grey' Jordan 13's. They were just released on Saturday and catch them while you can because they will be impossible to find in a few weeks. I am on the phone as we speak trying to get a pair. They are said to be around $135 at Foot Locker.
