That is just what it does! It isn't drying at all; my face feels silky smooth after using it. A little goes a long way so I use a little larger than a pea size for my face and neck. The smell isn't so amazing b
ut you get used to it - it's very earthy and well seaweed like. My skin looks bright and fresh immediately after using it.
